Editor quits while deleting files with "delte" key

Bug Description
The new edtior quits when i select some files (image file e.g.) and press the delete key on my keyboard. Not everytime but very often the editor quits without any error message.
Concrete steps:
1. Open these ebook with the editor (see enhancement)
2. Select "titlevign1.gif" and "titlevign2.gif"
3. press "delete" on the keyboard
-> Editor quits
