review downloaded metadata doesn't show the comments field

Bug Description
When downloading metadata via Ctrl+D, and choosing to review metadata before applying the changes, the comments field for the newly downloaded metadata is almost entirely taken up by the editing toolbars.
You can only see the barest glimpse of the metadata itself: to be exact, one line at a time.
Please expand the box, and if necessary take out the toolbars (which I have to wonder -- does anyone actually use them, or do they fix anything afterwards, from the main edit metadata window) because at the moment it is really hard to tell what's in there.
calibre 1.8 on Ubuntu 12.04 LTS
