Calibre say this to me by start and the logo hang up bei starting. Was means that for me? I go back to version 9,44, the last stable version for me. My system ist XP SP3 with last patches.

Have you any idea ... :-)

Attach the metadata.db file from your calibre library folder.

Have you been doing something unusual with your library? That db file
has a broken author link table (it contains entries for authors that
dont exist). I will add code to calibre to automatically detect and fix
this in the next release, but I'm curious to know how it happened in the
first place.

Fixed in branch master. The fix will be in the next release. calibre is usually released every Friday.
