Bug Description

Calibre version: 0.9.41
OS: Windows 7

Problem:
When converting this EPUB to MOBI (or AZW3), some italicized words move out of the sentence and to the end of the paragraph.

Here is one example. There seems to be an extra, self closing italics tag in the source:

EPUB source:

“The Prophet’s often behind the times,” said Tonks, who didn’t seem to be listening to him. “You haven’t had any letters from anyone in the Order recently?”

Resulting MOBI sentence (the word "Prophet's" is still italicized in the resulting mobi, but moved to the end of the paragraph):
“The often behind the times,” said Tonks, who didn’t seem to be listening to him. “You haven’t had any letters from anyone in the Order recently?”Prophet’s
