Bug Description
Running calibre 0.9.33 [64bit] on Windows 7 Ultimate. Using Cygwin bash and unix tools.
I notice various people reporting similar errors over considerable time.
Sorry this is a little messy; It's actually generated by a series of shell scripts, but this is what the inner-most script reported with -x (trace) as actually being executed:
'/cygdrive/

Use of --language=en doesn't help any. Neither does spelling it out, or using upper case, or specifying en-us.
The source file is half a meg, plus is copyright by somebody other than me, so I can't actually upload it.
Fixed in branch master. The fix will be in the next release. calibre is usually released every Friday.
