Image display issue in Kindle AZW3 file.

Operating System: Windows 7 SP1 (x64)
Program version: Calibre v0.9.29

Decoded the attached Kindle ebook (Dickens' Little Dorrit) which contains many illustrations, all SVG images.

For some reason unknown to me, Calibre doesn't display a single image apart from the cover (the Penguin logo).

Opening this same attached ebook in Kindle OTOH displays all the images correctly.

I also converted the attached AZW3 file to EPUB format in Calibre but no difference in the result, the images were not displayed in the EPUB file either.

(All images are listed and hyperlinked before the start of the book in the "List of Plates" section, located in between " A Note on the Text" and "LITTLE DORRIT" in the bookmark panel)

Fixed in branch lp:calibre. The fix will be in the next release. calibre is usually released every Friday.

I am having this issue now with an AZW3 file.

the file plays correctly in kindle PC edition but not in Calibre

if I switch to the flow view (not paged) the images show and all is well.
but I can not convert the azw3 without losing the images
tried epub and PDF..

the cover page image displays at all times.

the file is just 5mb and should be around 700 pages letter size

any help would be appreciated

Still, with newest version, this happens to every single AZW3 book I import into Calibre. Once imported, if I try to send the book to the device (my Kindle PW), there is no images available in the book anymore.
