Polish book - Update cover

If I update cover to epubs using new feature Polish books (by 0.9.26 x64) I cannot open the epub using Apple app iBooks.
On the contrary Calibre opens using its internal reader, but I can see 2 covers... I'm not a guru, but something got wrong during update I feel.

The book having two covers will happen if the epub does not identify
its current cover as a cover in the metadata. Many badly designed epubs
do that. Nothing calibre can do about that.

If you have a file that can be opened in ibooks before polishing and
cannot be opened after polishing, attach the file, every epub I tested
with works fine in dozens of different epub reading apps after
polishing.

I investigated a bit more and, as you wrote, the original epub doesn't identify the cover correctly.

The epub, I attached yesterday, cannot be opened onto iBooks.
In this answer I attach the original one.

I opened (I am not able to do much more btw) it with Sigil and verified that the original cover is in the text.xhtml together with the text; on the contrary calibre adds the cover as titlepage.xhtml.

I do not know really if the problem is the cover. I can just state that the original epub is managed by iBooks while on the contrary after the polish it cant.

Fixed in branch lp:calibre. The fix will be in the next release. calibre is usually released every Friday.
