Bug Description

When converting a .mobi or .epub e-book to .pdf the hyperlinks are not created in the .pdf output when the "include a page number on each page" is checked. Please explain if this is intended behaviour or a bug.

Separately is there a way to create header and footers for .pdf output where you could specify placement of things like page numbers, chapter titles and fixed text labels? Functionality would be similar to a Microsoft Word document.

Thank you for your reply.

There's no way to get chapter titles in an ebook, but if you want to create a template for the pdf header/footer containing fixed strings and page numbers you can do that via the command line, which exposes the options

ebook-convert book.epub .pdf --pdf-footer-template '<p style="text-align:center; text-indent: 0">_PAGENUM_</p>' --pdf-header-template '<p><i>My Header</i></p>'
