Bug Description
Hi! Previously, I mentioned in the Calibre forums that ePub to PDF conversion created white columns on covers since 0.9.13. That was mostly fixed by latest releases, but there's still a thin sliver of white in the left and bottom margins of the new PDF covers that weren't present in the old covers. Please see the attached files, which contain a test ePub file converted to PDF in both 0.9.12 and 0.9.24 for comparison; you'll see a white edge on the left and bottom of the latter.
Also, I'm not sure if this is an actual error or not, but horizontal rulers look slightly different. For example, look at page 23 of both PDF files. The new ruler has highly delineated left and right edges. Again, I don't know if this is misbehavior or a case of differing aesthetics, but I thought it would be better to mention it just in case.
Fixed in branch lp:calibre. The fix will be in the next release. calibre is usually released every Friday.
