Bug Description
Hi! I'm running calibre on Win7 and I have PDF documents on my computer with highlights already saved that I want to transfer onto my kindle. The highlighted passages on the PDF shows up as grey on the kindle with no way of removing them in bulk or converting them to kindle-formatted highlight.
I've searched around and I don't think there is a solution out there with calibre or any other conversion software. So it would be great if Calibre can have these features.
1) bulk removal of highlights in PDFs (in existing library and/or upon import)
and/or...
2) convert highlights in PDFs into kindle's My Clippings.txt format (Also a sync function for this would be useful.)
3) extract passages from kindle's My Clippings.txt and convert back into highlights in library's PDFs.
PS: I also occasionally add notes to the highlights so it would be great if they can also be converted. Thanks.

This is not worth the effort for me personally. If some one else wants to implement it, I will be happy to supply any needed guidance. If so, re-open the ticket and we can discuss it.
