Bug Description

Calibre version 0.8.58
operating system Windows XP and Windows 7

have set up the device, an iKnow iBook B7009, as a user device, using the get information to set up user device option(included in attachment) on the XP computer it did not recognise the sd drive but the Windows 7 computer did but assigned the same vendor and id strings to both main and sd card memory.

Calibre then recognised a new device was loaded and that it had a main memory and SD card, however the data in the main memory is being shown as on the card and the data on the card is being shown as in main memory.

A screenshot of the user setup is also included

Thanks for your assistance

Bill

@Charles: Should be fairly easy to add a check box to swap drivers to
the user defined driver.

I added the option to the user-defined device plugin. Unfortunately I don't have a device with a card so I cannot test it beyond ensuring that the option is correctly recognized. The swap code was taken from other device drivers so it should work, but YMMV.
