Bug Description

I have a Mac running Snow Leopard. Until recently clicking the pop-up "Connect/share" menu and choosing iTunes would launch iTunes and tell me the books already stored on iTunes ("On Device" column) and allow me to send copies of eBooks from Calibre to iTunes. Now, attempts to connect to iTunes results in launching itunes but Calibre reports an error message: Error Communicating with device. Below is the information copied to the clipboard from the error box:

calibre, version 0.8.54
ERROR: Error: Error communicating with device

Unknown property, element or command: 'sources'

Traceback (most recent call last):
File "site-packages/calibre/gui2/device.py", line 82, in run
File "site-packages/calibre/gui2/device.py", line 339, in _books
File "site-packages/calibre/devices/apple/driver.py", line 3166, in books
  File "site-packages/calibre/devices/apple/driver.py", line 2184, in _get_library_books
File "site-packages/appscript/reference.py", line 580, in __getattr__
AttributeError: Unknown property, element or command: 'sources'

Growl reports "ITunes detected" and then "Launching itunes, please wait..."

iTunes appears to be functioning normally and I can see the ebooks in itunes. iTunes version 10.6.3 (for Mac).

Calibre version is 0.8.5.4 and says "...Connected iTunes". at the bottom left of window. Any attempt to send a book to iTunes doesn't work, but Calibre does not report an error. The "On Device" column is completely blank, even though several books in Calibre library are in iTunes. These books used to show up in the "On Device" column.

I hope I provided enough information.

Thanks.
