Weekly repeating events are not displayed in "Show Calendar"

calendar-indicator will list repeating events in its list of next ten events but when I choose "Show Calendar" none of my weekly repeating events are displayed. Annual repeating events, such as birthdays, ARE displayed.

I'm can confirm this problem of weekly repeating events. When I run from terminal and open the calendar I can see the following:

Weekly Event DTSTART:20110808T1900000700
RRULE:FREQ=WEEKLY;UNTIL=20111108T030000Z
unknown string format

This repeats for every weekly event.

Do you still experience this issue with recurring events created recently? I ask, because I was plagued by this problem, too, but then recently noticed that new weekly events I've added work properly. Maybe Google changed something?

I also see that repeated events are now showing up in the said calendar view.
