Lubuntu - 19.10 Disco Dingo
The order in which the default languages are presented in the installer are unexpected and seem random. This differs from what is usually experienced in a software installer where the various English options are presented together e.g. American English, British English, Australian English anf the French etc.....
The installation was completed using the 64bit disco dingo desktop installer on the 3rd November 2018 within virtualbox 5.2.10.
Thanks!

In the Calamares welcome screen, languages are sorted in the list by their ISO language name (e.g. Russian, Korean, Greek, etc.) but their native language name (e.g. русский, 한국어, ελληνικά, etc.) is displayed. Languages with different localized variants (e.g. Spanish/español) are grouped together. There is one exception to this: American English is always at the top. |
