cairo-dock plug-ins fail to build noble due to distutils removal:

Thank you for the bug report.

It looks like it is the same issue as the one reported on the Debian bug tracker [1]

@kondor-dani shared patches on this Debian bug tracker [1], but he didn't get any replies from the Debian maintainers so far.

Hi,

the patch is now merged in the official repo:

Also I'm trying to fix the Debian package:
https://mentors.debian.net/package/cairo-dock-plug-ins/
I believe the same source package should work for Ubuntu as well

Hi Vladimir,

This bug has been fixed on Debian side (unstable).

A "simple" sync with Debian can then be done now (if you are still OK to fix it :) )
