Bug Description

when I drag and drop a file located in a NAS, the stack cannot find this file after log out / log in. IMHO not a bug but just a question of ordering mounting devices and initializing cairo dock? I using Ubuntu 15.04 64 bit.

Hello,

What's the URI of your file located in your NAS?

In fact, the dock will get details from GVFS. Maybe it should retry after a few seconds if your NAS is not mounted when the dock is launched.

Regards,

Matt

Hello,

the URI in /etc/fstab looks like //<IP of the NAS>/mynas /home/gernot/mynas cifs auto,credentials=/<path to credentials file> 0 0

Use Case:
- drag and drop a file from /home/gernot/mynas onto the dock folder
- log out
- open dock
- file has a ? Icon, will say cannot be opened any more

NAS is not in stand by mode

Regards
Gernot

Hello,

Do you still have this bug if the dock is not launched at startup and/or if you relaunch stack applet?

If you click on this icon with '?', does it open the file?

Can you check if the URI seems correct in the launcher linked to your file in ~/.config/cairo-dock/stack/ directory?
