Thanks, I noticed this too!
For now I will add them as dependencies. If it seems to be better to package the indicator separately, I can add the indicator to Suggests and they will be dependencies of the indicator package; it doesn't make sense to add them as Recommends to the caffeine package, because then the indicator will not work by default; in any case, the reason I didn't originally notice these missing deps is that on GNOME and Unity they are already installed.
