Bug Description

On Ubuntu 14.04, Caffeine does not inhibit the screensaver even when applications are running full screen.
I discovered this watching full screen video on BBC iplayer (http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer) in Google Chrome.
I checked System Monitor and Caffeine is still running.

Are you using the Unity desktop?

Same issue, default Ubuntu 14.04, Firefox + plugin-container based player in full screen mode.
Manual screensaver disable was used as a workaround, but it is unavailable now.

Please can you look in your X session log for any messages from Caffeine? For Unity this should be ~/.cache/upstart/unity-panel-service.log

Running `zgrep Caffeine ~/.cache/upstart/unity-panel-service.log*` should find any such messages (what I want to know is whether Caffeine is trying to inhibit idleness and failing, or whether it is not finding the fullscreen window).

I had a look at iPlayer and this works fine for me under GNOME, so it seems to be a duplicate of bug #1266953, except that Caffeine used to work on Unity; perhaps the DBus interface name has changed in 14.04.
