Bug Description
Somebody sends a colored message and it doesn't appear colored. The color code unicode symbol just goes before it.

Yep, color codes should be supported in both ways ( send and receive ).
Tekka, the official maki client uses some extended syntax ( %Cfg,bg text )
mIRC use CTRL+K fg,bg
