I've been using it for months. The missing part here is a way to distinguish between precious and junk files (both of them being ignored).
There may be some rough edges too as people may wrongly add the bzr-orphans (may be adding it to the default ~/.bazaar/ignore file is the way to go here) directory at the root of their tree or be confused when it appears.
