I think this is similar to some other cases that were latent due to a previous bzr bug; iirc reimporting the bug fixed them.

FYI, the branches for karmic and precise are fine, but lucid, maverick, natty, and oneiric are unusable.

Correction: the precise branch is considerably out of date.

This seems specific to udd-imported branches, even though the bug may be originally in bzr.
