Bug Description
pulling from a remote branch currently tries to open a bundle using the VFS. Ideally we should have a HPSS call for this.

Getting it off vfs would be good. Ideally there would not be a
separate round trip though. At some level bundles look a lot like
branches; perhaps it's feasible to entirely hide this across the
network. (Maybe not.)
