A lot of projects currently track reviewers for revisions that land on trunk, but they all currently store that information in the commit message somewhere, often with a different syntax.

A lot of projects currently track reviewers for revisions that land on trunk, but they all currently store that information in the commit message somewhere, often with a different syntax.
It would be great to have a "reviewers" revision property that contained this information, and which can be displayed by e.g. bzr log / bzr viz / launchpad etc. Tools like Tarmac and PQM could set this property, and we might want to allow setting it on the command-line to commit.
This would also make analysis by various tools (e.g. bzr stats) easier.
It would make sense to use newlines to separate the different reviews in the "reviews" property, consistent with the "authors" and "bugs" properties.
Each line could contain the type of the review ("code", "ui", ...) as well as the identity of the person that did the review. |
