Bug Description
In investigating issues like bug 692829 it would be handy if we could ask the reporter to run “bzr diff --format=hex” or something that could report what differences bzr sees (if any). Even functionality equivalent to cmp(1), which just reports the first position that the file versions differ, would be better than nothing.
