Bug Description
Andrew Bennetts clarified my confusion about stacked branches on IRC. He presented to me the common use case with an example, which IMHO is better than what is written in the current documentation.
I am trying to make a change to the documentation, adding Andrew's example. When this is done, I will post it here.
