bzr log <DIRECTORY> doesn't display expected results

Bug Description

If I run bzr log on a folder I expect to get all the changes that have been made to that folder, and the files and folders it contains. eg...

$> bzr log mybranch/some/folder

But, I only get the log of the changes to that particular folder (ie. when it was added to the codebase), but I expected to get log entries for any files or folders below that folder as well. Is this the intended behaviour?

(I know this is a bug tracker not a help forum but if this is the intended behaviour is there any way to get the behaviour I'm looking for?)

Thanks,

Well, it is the _expected_ behavior. This is likely to change when future repository formats make it easier. See also bug 211852.

Changed in bzr:
importance: Undecided → Medium
status: New → Confirmed
