Bug Description

Inspired by <http://blog.orebokech.com/2008/03/emacs-in-bzr-initial-impressions.html?showComment=1205567460000#c704851069175482875>, I made my own tests and must confirm that "bzr missing" can be unbearably slow.

Steps to reproduce:

1. I checked out Emacs' Bazaar repo (http://bzr.notengoamigos.org/emacs/trunk/) into a shared repo with pack-0.92.

2. I branched it.

3. I changed the README in the branch and commited it.

4. I went back into the original trunk and said "bzr missing ../mybranch".

The output was correct (the one commit), but it took 20 minutes.

A fix has been committed for the original bug #174625, this should be fixed in bzr.dev and released in bzr 1.6
