The soon EOL for Python2 would warrant a new bzr release with Python 3 support I think. While bzr itself clearly is in maintenance mode and there are not many new projects using it it is still out there, and it will be needed to access bzr repositories in the future.

There is a friendly fork of Bazaar called Breezy (https://Launchpad.net/brz), which supports Python 3 and can access bzr repositories.

Comment #1 refers to Breezy, not Bazaar. Bazaar doesn't have Python 3 support, not even unreleased.
