Bug Description

I'm unable to do basically anything on remote SFTP server - I keep getting this error message:

TransportNotPossible: Transport operation not possible:

Log in attachment is from push, but even simple repository init fails in similar way.

I think that the error might be on the server, but I'm not sure - lack of any meaningful error message makes it pretty hard to guess.

I've tried this with Bazaar on Python 2.7 (I use normally 2.6, packaged with Win32 installer - not sure if this made a difference).

Here's more detailed log. It seems that SFTP transport can't rename/overwrite file.

This log is from push.

So, the problem is definitely on the server - it does not support moving files around.

I've prepared some fix for showing correct error message - see my branch above.

@mnn: Thanks for working on this !

To allow a better tracking, please submit your branch as a merge proposal (the branch page has a button for this) and have a look at doc/developers/HACKING.txt which mention other useful things to know ;)

Additionally, mentioning the file names involved would help (rel_from, rel_to).
