Bug Description
When replaying a merge revision, the new commit is a flat revision with only one parent. This obviously results in quite a large loss of information.

Any chance this could be looked at? It's nearly two years old now and it makes replay mostly useless for the one and only use case that we have for it (removing specific merges from a staging release branch).
