Bug Description

I found plugin repo-push very useful.
But it lacks support for tags: during initial push always branch5 created,
even after I upgrade push target branch to branch6 format, it anyway
ignores my tags and don't push 'em.

I've changed ownership of the project to a new "bzr-repo-push" team that you are a member of, and pulled in your fixes. You should be able to commit to the main development branch now. I've also invited the "bzr" team to be a member of the team, which will give members of that team access as well.
