Bad characters shown in console on hudson

The following command gets executed when running a build with the bazaar plugin and following output is displayed:

Executing: version-info "--format=rio" trunk

Is it that the xml-output plugin is faulty or is there an encoding problem etc...
The build machine running ubuntu.

running the command:
bzr version-info "--format=rio" trunk
from the terminals works 100%
but in the hudson console it shows the above

Thanks for reporting this issue.

I don't know the reason, but it's shows with those weird characters *only* in the archived console log.
e.g: if you open the console log while the job is running the output is ok.

I'll try to find out why the archived console output get scrambled.

I looked in the /var/lib/hudson/jobs/... folder and found the actual log file and removed the email addresses at the end. Other wise it should have the build failure in it but it doesn't.
We have two build jobs running and the other build job uses the cleans option on every new build and this job has good log files.

More information:
I think this happens when one enables the "Archive the artifacts" under "Post-build Actions" in the settings page of the build job.
I don't get the weird characters anymore but I don't get the last error message or the full console... its almost as if the entire console is wiped and only "bzr version-info "--format=rio" trunk" is shown.
