Bug Description
Hi,
I was wondering if, as well as generating commit messages, this tool could be used to make messages that close bug reports. This would be useful for Emacs on Savannah (and any projects using bzr on Savannah and debbugs.gnu.org
to track bugs). The idea is, when I make a commit with `bzr commit --fixes debbugs:1234', when the bzr hookless script sees that commit, it generates a mail that is sent to <email address hidden>, with subject something like "bug#1234 fixed by commit xyz", and body something like "Thanks for youur bug report #1234. It has been fixed by the following commit: <commit info similar to that already used in the commit messages>".
There would need to be a new command line argument that specifes the form of the address to send the close
message to. Eg for debbugs.gnu.org it would be something like "-b {id}-<email address hidden>", where id
gets replaced with the bug number.
Thanks.
