Bug Description

I have a Launchpad project importing a mercurial repository from mozdev.org.

It seems this has stopped working a while ago. I've tried importing from "https://hg.mozdev.org/updatescanner/" and "http://hg.mozdev.org/updatescanner/" with no success.

See https://code.launchpad.net/updatescanner for the set of branches showing my attempts at getting this to work. Unfortunately it's somewhat difficult to see exactly what Launchpad is trying to do.

Many thanks for your help.

https import might be failing because of a self-signed certificate (or well, cacert-signed certificate), but not sure why is http import failing.

I can reproduce this issue outside of Launchpad, with just bzr and bzr-hg.

I can reproduce this error with this[1] branch. Buildlog is here[2].
