Bug Description
It seems to me that bzr-notify is leaking memory. I noticed it at being 17mb, which sounds somewhat too much for something that simply displays a notification.
Making a test bzr repo and commiting some increased it's size without it going down, so I'm wondering if there is a possible leak - or can the memory management be improved somehow?

Does it grow to more than 17 megabytes? I don't think this is actually a memory leak, just that bzr notify is implemented in Python and there's memory overhead in various places.
