Bug Description

re: (0.9.0dev): virtual repositories

Tested on WinXP via bazaar-2.0.0-2-setup.exe

Initial implementation has some issues on large filesystems -

1] until the search is done Explorer just sits there with a blank unresponsive screen. (Perhaps some sort of 'in progress' indicator called for?)

2] the search bails out and no otherwise valid repositories are logged if it hits any error it can't deal with.

3] one such error (ie. which caused problem #2) is that the filesystem contained an svn checkout for which the parent repository has been deleted. (The host which held the repository has been removed from the DNS.)

4] Opening a virtual repository against the root on C:\ . I don't have Administrator access on this machine. The repository search bailed out with an Error dialogue box which read -

"bzr: ERROR: Permision denied: "C:/Documents and Settings/Administrator/": [Error 5]
Access is denied: u'C:/Documents and Settings/Administrator/*.*'

 - hitting [Ignore] leaves Explorer running, but with an unpopulated main window.

I guess bug 512619 is just the first of these issues, about not blocking during the search. I think some of the others may also be dupes. If they're not, please file new individual bugs for each one.
