Bug Description

On Windows for switching between several documents in MDI applications (e.g. text editors) often used Ctrl+Tab hot key (Shift+Ctrl+Tab for backward switch). I'm not sure what is default hot combination on Linux or Mac. But will be nice to have such feature.

I'd be happy for the tabs to disappear and be replaced by a tree navigator on the LHS. That would cluster branches for a repository together and make it much easier to open a repository from a branch.

But faster switching via a keyword hotkey is a nice idea regardless.

It's rather annoying to not be able switching 2 tabs with branches. I'm often need to work with couple of related branches at once and I encounter this bug every day. :-/
