Bug Description

The trivial character of this suggestion shows how useful BE already is.

Would it be reasonable for BE to automatically "File>Open" the working tree immediately after a successful init or branch operation?

This certainly needs to be much smoother if casual users aren't going to be confused. There may be a case for custom handling of init/branch/checkout accordingly.

I think we're saying similar things. This is easy to deal with -- once
known -- but makes a confusing first impression. (I know, some people are
easily confused.) Making this more intuitive -- even if intuitive does not
mean better -- might help win hearts and minds.

On the other hand, if we go back to your vision of bzr-explorer as a
prototype for a "bzr menu" which might be part of IDE's and other tools,
then maybe the current behavior is exactly right. So perhaps the best thing
to do might be to keep the semantics clearly separated so that the embedding
application can choose the best behavior for the use case.

This is done for Init and Checkout in 0.8. I still need to fix this for Branch.
