Bug Description
When setting up a workspace, I noticed that often when using colo-fetch I'd have to run break-lock later when trying to commit. However, if I branch it first, then run colo-ify, that works fine.

Can you suggest a way to reproduce this? Without that, it's hard for me to fix it.
