Bug Description

Hello,

I just updated to byobu 5.17. I use screen as the backend, and xterm as the terminal emulator.

One of the tools I use most is mc. In mc, one uses the shift + up/down arrow keys to select multiple files for an operation. I was using byobu 4.x before this, and it all worked properly, but with 5.17, shift + arrow keys doesn't do anything.

Is there some configuration I can do to make shift + arrow keys work again?

Thanks,
Ankur

It looks like I need to disable the f-key bindings to use the screen defaults. I tried doing this by hitting ctrl + a + !, but all it gives me is a line:

:source /usr/share/byobu/keybindings/f-keys.screen.disable

This issue seems to be already present, as mentioned in the comments of this bug:

The workaround in the comment works. I'll file a new bug against toggle keys.

Thanks,
Ankur
