Bug Description

Running byobu-tmux, both Byobu and tmux built from source, on OSX 10.11 and iTerm 2.1.4. The session name is displayed as "#S" for all sessions. This was working on OS X 10.10. This is also occurring on Homebrew versions of Byobu and tmux. Session names are displayed properly when running tmux without Byobu.

The error started to occur in tmux version 2.1. It worked previously in version 2.0. I verified this running both on MacOSX 10.10.5 with Byobu version 5.94, with Byobu and tmux installed using Homebrew (bottled packages).

Hmm, I'm not able to reproduce that, on byobu version 5.102, tmux 2.1, on Ubuntu. I'll try to get access to a Mac machine.

Changed in byobu:
importance: Undecided → Low
status: New → Incomplete

The same happens for me - both in
* byobu 5.73 / tmux 1.6 on Scientific Linux release 6.8 (Carbon)
* current byobu trunk (from git) / tmux 1.6 on Scientific Linux CERN SLC release 6.9 (Carbon)
Scientific Linux is "rebuilt from the freely available Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6 (Server)" [1].
