Bug Description

With Byobu 5.18 and tmux 1.6 on Gentoo inside Konsole 2.8.4 (KDE 4.8.4) I don't see the right status bar (same problem as reported at http://askubuntu.com/questions/143370/byobu-doesnt-show-the-colourful-status-line).

There is a status line that shows the open windows starting from the left (much like tmux's default). I can even switch if off and on using tmux's :set status off/on. But it doesn't show all the status notifications I've set up using the Byobu configuration menu. (Well, in fact I didn't do much; I'd just like to have the default status notifications for now, but I'm not getting them.)

Hi Christoph, sorry I missed this bug earlier. Are you still experiencing this problem with the latest Byobu version?

Thanks, with 5.27 the status bar seems to work as expected.

BTW I had to make some manual effort to get 5.27 installed on Gentoo (which is still at 5.18), but I have now requested that the distribution maintainers provide an up-to-date package (https://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=452140).
