needs styling

Bug #673488 reported by Ivanka Majic on 2010-11-10

Bug Description needs to reflect the Ubuntu visual identity.

I know that mvo can help with making it happen if we go to him all set with css and what we want it to look like but someone needs to do the design work. Richard can help with turning it into code.

Rather than race off and look at the visual styling, I think someone needs to take a little bit of time to look at what is actually needed here.

The screenshots themselves get used by the Software Centre so a very valuable and separate project will be to encourage more screenshots to be submitted, the focus of this piece of work is to look at the styling and layout.

The brief (version 1)

* to review the visual styling of and ensure that the appropriate level of branding is applied. Looking at it superficially I imagine the site will need to be co-branded. How do we best reflect the relationship between Debian and Ubuntu?

* Site audience needs a little discussion but I propose that this site should have a non-technical community focus as adding screenshots does not require great technical expertise.

Who else has something like this? Is there anything we could or should consider?

* wireframe
* visual design and all assets
* css/html

I changed this back to incomplete as I have seen no evidence of the work. Will follow up.
