After forcing close of the hung nautilus, nautilus hang on open.

After after this, ubuntu hangs on shutdown with keyboard non-responsive.

I also have this problem, I am using the same parameters, working under Ubuntu 12.04 and gnome classic.

the gdb log has no stacktrace, you need to type 'backtrace' once you get the issue as expained on the wiki

It also hangs when opening the NTFS partition for the first time in my case by the way.
