Bug Description

Ubuntu doesn't comes with multi-touch support, so I downloaded utouch. In the community site, it says that my mouse (Apple Magic Mouse) is supported. I tried "sudo mtdev-test /dev/input/event6" and multi-touch worked, but after I followed the instructions at https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Multitouch/Testing/UsingGeisview, and I had no success. I can use the mouse normally, but I would like to have gestures.

Hi Francisco,

Ubuntu has multitouch support, but it only supports touchpads and touchscreens at this time. We have an open bug, bug 747835, to track the progress of support for independent devices, which the Apple Magic Mouse is.
