Bug Description

I don't know how many mirrors are in the DNS rotation, however I experienced this problem Tuesday May 8... I sent an email to "<email address hidden>" as suggested in the error 500 message, but since the situation hasn't changed I can only assume no action has been taken to resolve it. So I'm opening this issue.

When searching packages.ubuntu.com (resolving to 91.189.94.203), I am given no result for any packages (i.e. vim, nano, grub - none are found when "any" release selected).

Browsing the packages by distribution:

* "Virtual packages" is the only category that shows up for all distributions except Quantal

* Quantal lists all package categories and list of packages is available when selecting categories, however picking any package (i.e. http://packages.ubuntu.com/quantal/admin/abootimg) returns an Internal Server Error (HTTP 500) listing "<email address hidden>" as the contact to advise of the error.

This is a really annoying issue, and I'm surprised there isn't better monitoring or at least an @ubuntu.com email address to report the issue to...

Please resolve as soon as possible.
