Large window height hides element list

When the glade window is resized to allow for more height on the workspace the element list on the left gets smaller and hides the top most elements. In which case no scrolling is available. See the attached video for a better reference of what I am talking about.

This bug happens with both compiz/unity as well as gnome-shell/mutter.
