"Intelligent Edges" stopped working

I've set Compiz via CCSM so that it would show desktop when I place the mouse in the bottom left corner and that it scales the windows when I place it in the right bottom corner. Also, I use Enhanced Zoom Desktop (Ctrl+wheel).
A few days ago, the edges stopped working, zoom is still working all right. I have no proprietary drivers on the system, and none are available. The edges are still configured in CCSM, but the settings have no effect.
