thunderbird crashes if an email is selected for viewing

Bug Description

Emails download ok, but then when you select a mail to view it's content then
thunderbird crashes and disappears.

Has it always done this for you? I believe others are using thunderbird
successfully.

Yes, I had this problem too on i386 for a little while, but i am not in the
position to debug it
at least for another week.

Matt i am reassigning to qa in the meantime.

Ok, i uninstalled the enigmail extension and it worked fine. My mistake.
There is a bug logged for the mozilla-thunderbird-enigmail package
