the selected file in the playlist has the wrong text color

the text color is the same as the background color. but when dragging the window it is normal and readable.

it's not about the gtk theme. The theme I use is: http://gnome-look.org/content/show.php/Ambiance+-+lime?content=150434
the default theme in ubuntu 12.04 (Ambiance) does the same thing.

In fact, you're supposed to use the elementary theme :P
But it should be looking good for all others themes now, too.

I don't know about the elementary theme, but here, the text and not the background changes color, it's better than before, but it would be more consistent if it was the other way around.

btw, where can I find the official elementary theme? I'd like to check that before complaining about more theme issues.

The theme is either at lp:egtk or in ppa:elementary-os/daily.
The desired behavior is only giving the text a different color. The background shouldn't change at all, since it wouldnt match too good to the things around it.
